L’evento “Water Sciences for Peace and Development”, promosso dal Programma Mondiale di Valutazione delle Risorse Idriche dell’UNESCO (WWAP), si terrà il 12 novembre 2025 alle ore 15:30 presso l’Università per Stranieri di Perugia, nell’Aula Magna di Palazzo Gallenga.
Il programma sarà articolato in due sessioni: la prima, coordinata dall’UNESCO (WWAP), dedicata al ricordo delle attività del Prof. Lucio Ubertini con le Nazioni Unite; la seconda celebrerà i 40 anni del centro Water Resources Research and Documentation Center (WARREDOC) istituto nel 1985 alla Stranieri, ripercorrendone la storia, le principali iniziative e le prospettive future.
The event, promoted by the UNESCO World Water Assessment Programme (WWAP), will take place on 12 November 2025 at 3:30 p.m. in the Aula Magna of Palazzo Gallenga, at the Stranieri University of Perugia.
The program will include two sessions: the first, coordinated by UNESCO (WWAP), will be dedicated to commemorating the work of Prof. Lucio Ubertini with the United Nations; the second will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Water Resources Research and Documentation Center (WARREDOC), established in 1985 at the University, retracing its history, major initiatives, and future perspectives.
